Friday February 25 Day 4

The last two days have been very busy.    Thursday morning was very exciting because we were videotaped for our Black History Month focus on jazz music.   The kids had great costumes and Kyral's parents came prepared with costumes and camera to create a cool video that will be presented at an assembly in early March.   Below is a sneek peek at what you can expect on the video.

In the afternoon we worked on Spelling and Storywriting.     
Today we reviewed telling time.   Gr. 2's worked on telling time to 30 min.past  and 15 min past or half past and quarter past.   We also practiced drawing the hands on the clock correctly and in the correct spot. 
Gr.3 were telling time the the nearest 5 min.   We also worked on Spelling today to get it done so we can do the test on Monday.     We had a delicious pizza lunch and then we had clusters to end the day.

HOMEWORK: Reading Response:  Read a book.
                                                         Record the title and author.
                                                        Tell character, setting, problem/solution and connections.
                                                        If nonfiction, tell 3 things you learned and connections.\
