We started the day off with Gym with Mr. Costa.
The Gr. 2's had there Lesson 34 Spelling Test and the Gr. 3's worked to get information for their research project.
After recess, we continued to work on our flashcards. I really want the students to practice there times tables, and this is a fun way to use our measurement skills, patterning and end up with a useful tool for summer to practice. Students use calculators to find the answer and write it on the back of their cards.
After lunch we worked on our projects, and if complete then students worked on Spelling Lesson 35.
Most students have written the good copy of their work or typed it on computer at home.
Today Baby Teagan came for her final visit to our class. She is 11 cm taller and 9 lbs. heavier. She was very happy today and we noticed big changes in her. She is crawling, she was very vocal and as her mom said, she is very big for her age. We are glad that she is so healthy and happy. Emmanuel brought in some special treats for us as a celebration of our work with Baby Teagan and Roots of Empathy.
After recess, we continued to plug away at our projects. I want to get them completed and assessed by the end of the week.
