Today was a day of finishing up activities that needed to be completed. During our morning message we reviewed vowels and the difference between long vowels (say their own name) and short vowels. After that we had Gym. During our Gym period we had a lockdown drill. Mr. Duwyn was very pleased with how well it went.
After recess we did our final round of Literacy activities. After lunch, everyone wanted freetime, so everyone had to have their Reading, Grammar and Penmenship completed. Almost everyone finished, but not everyone got freetime.
After recess this afternoon, we visited the Computer Lab. We visited the blog and went to one of the links that I posted in the area called " Helpful Websites for Home." From there we went to Virtual Manipulatives. We went to the attribute section to review our work on patterns and attributes. Explore other areas of interest on the site!
